Certificate of Merit from the Medical Library Association
Served as Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Association of Vision Science Librarians and edited the Standards for Vision Science Librarians, which were published in the Bulletin of the Medical Library Association in 2000.

Nursing Education As A Career
Judy has published articles in several nursing and medical library journals and was the first editor of the newsletter for Nursing and Allied Health Resources Section of the Medical Library Association (1983 – 1986). In addition she has presented papers at the Medical Library Association and the Association of Vision Science Librarians annual meetings as well as international library meetings in London and Melbourne, Australia.
