Role At Dixon
Mrs. Pantalone is the Dixon School of Nursing Registrar/Bursar. She provides information to potential students and maintains student admission, educational and account records. She serves as the program administrator for the School of Nursing admission/financial services computer program. She works closely with the Coordinator of Admissions and Recruitment and with the Coordinator of Student Financial Aid and Support Services to assist them with their student service roles. Her warm and caring people skills make her a joy to be around each day.

Professional Awards and Recognition
Karen received the Abington Memorial Hospital Gold Standard Award for Excellence in May 2009.

Favorite Part of Working at Dixon
Working in a school where the faculty and administration are committed to preparing the students to be caring and competent nurses is a real joy. Everyone at the Dixon School of Nursing is committed to making our Nursing Program the best in the country!

Favorite Part of Working with Students
The students are a very diverse group, ranging in age from 18 to the 60's. They are a group with very different needs, but all with the same goal and Mrs. Pantalone is always willing to assist them in any way she can.

Personal Interests
Her family is a large part of her everyday life with a retired husband, a son who has his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and a rescued dog names Gizmo. She sees her three sisters often and loves the beach and shopping!
