Krystyna Hopkinson is a faculty member at Abington
Memorial Hospital Dixon School of Nursing. She is the Course Coordinator
for N302 (Day Option): Psychiatric and Community Nursing. She also
teaches N101: Foundations of Nursing. Krystyna is the Faculty Advisor
(Day Option) for the Student Nurse Association Of Pennsylvania (SNAP)
Organization, chairs the Student Grievance Committee, and serves
on the Faculty Organization, Curriculum, Advisement, Counseling and
Collaboration and Diversity Education Committees.

Personal Interests
Krystyna is busy with her family and friends. She enjoys the shore,
sports, especially baseball and the Olympics. She also loves the
Broadway shows. Hawaii is her destination of choice.
Nursing Education As A
Career
Krystyna Hopkinson chose nursing as a career because she enjoys providing
patient care and establishing the therapeutic patient-nurse relationship.
Nursing education provides her with the opportunity to share her area
of expertise with her students. Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing has
always been an exciting, challenging adventure.
